We often pride ourselves on that one skill or strength that made us successful in our last job or project. But clinging too tightly to that one thing can hold us back. Success isn't about being good at one thing. It's about recognizing all the ways you can add value—and being flexible enough to meet the needs of those around you. Staying comfortable might feel safe, but adaptability is what truly drives growth and success. Embrace your strengths, but stay open to how those strengths can be applied in new, unexpected ways. By showcasing the right skills at the right time, we can face challenges head-on and discover new paths to fulfillment. After all, adaptability is the real key to happiness and success. Over the weekend, I came across an awesome image of a Pepsi can with a Coca-Cola cape. It got me thinking about perspective and how we can control our minds to flip a negative situation into an optimistic opportunity. In our fast-paced work environment, challenges are inevitable. But what if we approached these challenges with the mindset of turning them into opportunities? Just like the Pepsi can wearing a Coca-Cola cape, we can choose to see the potential for greatness in every obstacle we face. Let's embrace optimism and creativity in our problem-solving. Hello network, many of you know me from my 23 year career with Coca-Cola, others I have met from my 18 months with PDW on workshops and others from people common in our network. Regardless of how we have met, I have a passion for working with people and helping them develop is what drives me and helps me to sleep well at night. Leaving Coca-Cola after a 23 year career to work for PDW group in July 2022, was a huge challenge for me, leaving my safety blanket of what I had known for more than half of my life, but my drive to work for a Training & Consultancy business and be part of that change for businesses was bigger than letting go of that safety blanket. 18 months on from that change - how do I feel?  The best thing I have ever done!!  I get the opportunity to work with a fantastic, engaged team at PDW and I have met so many people from different backgrounds and industries, developing a way of facilitating training that really DOES work!!  When I read the feedback from the workshops that we deliver at PDW Group, how we have made them think about the way to approach things differently that have lead to success, having the opportunity to practise a really difficult situation in a safe environment and how this has built their confidence not only in their professional life but also in their personal life - makes me smile from ear to ear and be proud of the work that we do. Nothing we do at PDW is ‘off the shelf’, we bespoke each workshop to our client's needs.  I am confident about how our workshops drive behavioural change and drive performance with the clients that we work with and want to shout from the rooftops about how investing in our training will really make a step change. Do you know that literally everyone is interested in the end results of your ACHIEVEMENTS? The Coca-Cola Company is a company that manufactures refreshing drinks that is enjoyed by everyone however we only put our attention on the end products of which few people take their time to understand what it takes to produce those refreshing drinks, because when you are pursuing something everyones main focus is the end product of a thing that you are pursuing regardless of what it will take you to complete. As you finish this week always value the processes that happened during the course of the week but by all means don't lose focus into completing what you want to achieve because people will only see the end results of your pursuits.
