Ik Big news: Announcement of Collaboration with Withings and CSEM Under Granted Eurostars Project! Praxa Sense is proud to announce that it has received a Eurostars grant to support a three-year collaboration with Withings, a leader in connected health devices, and CSEM, a Swiss innovation center. With a total project budget of €2 million, of which approximately €800,000 is funded by EUREKA, this partnership will drive the future of cardiovascular health monitoring. About the SPECTRA Project The SPECTRA project aims to combine cutting-edge sensor technology with advanced algorithms to deliver new insights into cardiovascular health with minimal user burden. The project focuses on two key areas: 1. An innovative remote patient monitoring device with the integrated ALIS™ system. 2. Development of a Cardiovascular Risk Index algorithm. The outcomes of the SPECTRA project will represent a significant leap forward in remote health monitoring. With these innovations, Praxa Sense aims to revolutionize real-time monitoring of cardiovascular health. We are deeply grateful to Withings and CSEM for their confidence in the technical potential of the ALIS™ system. DxD Hub - Diagnostics Development Hub was delighted to host Adrian Gillespie, Neil McInnes and Kartina Osman from the Scottish Enterprise. This is a follow-up visit from our recent meeting with David J Smith during an event hosted by Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre Scotland in November.   Our discussion touched on collaborative opportunities in Women’s Cardiovascular Health (WCVH) and also gain insights into best practices for scaling and adopting digital health technologies. We also shared challenges faced by both Singapore and Scotland in advancing diagnostics and digital health innovation.   Scottish Enterprise, an economic development agency and Scottish Development International (SDI), has been actively fostering global collaborations, including with Singapore, to help Scottish businesses expand internationally. Through their initiatives, they have been driving advancements in precision medicine and MedTech, supporting companies like: 🔬 Carcinotech – Developing 3D-printed tumours for precision medicine research 📡 Waire Health – Creating wearable, medical-grade health monitors 💊 Talking Medicines – Leveraging AI to enhance patient care We are inspired by the innovative approaches emerging from Scotland’s ecosystem, including programs such as the Living Laboratory for Precision Medicine and the Industrial Centre for AI in Digital Diagnostics.
