❓ How to start building an Employer Brand? Begin by answering the question: "What do you need it for?" =>DON'T proceed if the answers are: ❌ I dream that I'll be at a conference, and everybody will know the company. ❌ We have a famous product brand, so the employer brand must be famous as well. ❌ Last week, a candidate told me that they've never heard about our company. Literally, stop thinking about the Employer Brand immediately when you hear such responses. Otherwise, you will never know who you should attract, how to measure the results, and what strategy to choose. =>DO proceed if the answers are: ✅ We need to hire XX employees during the next year, and recruitment needs additional support. ✅ We should increase the quality of candidates by Y%. ✅ We should decrease the time it takes to fill vacancies by YZ%. And you know, it's not just about measurable results. It's also about making sense. Everything in business should bring value, and the Employer Brand direction is no exception. I’m not a fan of advice on how to organize your day to be the most effective employee ever. I prefer to go with the natural flow, and this is how my working routine is organized, no matter what: ☕ Coffee first Preferably somewhere in a coffee shop, even if I'm working from home. ⏱ Plan in advance I always plan my next working day in the evening of the current day. Also, I take the last day of my vacation to catch up and prepare for the first working day. 🐸 No “eat the frog first” I start the day with operations, answering messages and emails, and addressing any urgent unexpected requests. All the strategic questions are saved for the evening—sometimes after working hours, sometimes on Sunday evening (and what are you gonna do to me? 😃 ) I’m not encouraging you to follow the same rules, but this approach has helped me stay motivated and navigate challenges over the last 5-7 years. 📢 Call for those who work with internal communications: What tool do you use to distribute your emails? I’ll go first. We use ContactMonkey, and here are some pros and cons of this solution. Pros: 🔸 Ability to track analytics for your communications 🔸 Ability to create branded layouts for emails in Gmail 🔸 Ability to add custom surveys (e.g., evaluate this email from 1 to 5) Cons: 🔸 Every new sender must be added to the platform manually via Customer Support 🔸 Some issues with internal spam protection filters 🔸 Inability to track the Read-through metric (this is not applicable for Google Suite users) What options do you use to make internal communications brighter and clearer? Hello LinkedIn community! How are you doing? I haven’t been here for a while. I wish I could post a huge list of achievements that happened during my absence and say that’s why I was too busy for LinkedIn, but… I just got a bit lazy 😊 🍸 I visited two different countries, took two vacations, spent time with my family and old friends, celebrated Semrush’s 16th birthday, and lived two different lives—working as an employee from Monday to Friday and enjoying my weekends from Friday evening to Sunday. Now that the temperature is cooler, my work ethic is stronger, and I’m back–refreshed, full of new ideas, and excited to share plenty of upcoming events! #EmployerBrand #Summer #VacationMood
