Industries department issues order enhancing capital subsidy under special scheme for technical textiles 1) Tamil Nadu Industries, Investment, Promotion and Commerce Department has issued a government order enhancing the capital subsidy under the existing special scheme for technical textiles to 25% from 15%, which will be disbursed over a period of 10 years and expanding the scheme to cover medium enterprises. 2) On March 18, 2023, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had released the special scheme for technical textiles, Man-Made Fibre (MMF) yarn from recycled products, MMF fabric and apparel manufacturing in the State.

#plywood By the end of 2023, the total production capacity of plywood products in China is expected to be close to 210 million cubic meters/year. By the end of 2022, there were more than 10,800 enterprises producing plywood products nationwide, with a total production capacity of about 208 million cubic meters/year, further decreasing by 6.3% compared to the end of 2021; the average production capacity of enterprises is about 19,300 cubic meters/year. The Chinese plywood industry shows a double decline in the number of enterprises and total production capacity, and a slight increase in the average production capacity of enterprises.
