Whether it’s social media, unnecessary meetings, or multitasking, remove anything that hinders your focus. Take Breaks: Regular breaks are essential. They refresh your mind and boost productivity. Use techniques like the Pomodoro Technique to work in focused intervals with breaks in between. Reflect and Adjust: At the end of the day, reflect on what you’ve accomplished. Adjust your plan as needed for better efficiency the next day. The Pomodoro Technique! Many of us struggle for time, focus, productivity and things spiral out of hands whatever we may try. Read about this Pomodoro Technique and really felt that this could help me and others too. It's a time management method named after a kitchen timer shaped like a tomato (Pomodoro in Italian). How it's done? - Choose a task - Set a timer for 25 minutes (or another length) - Work without interruptions until the timer goes off - Take a 5-minute break - Repeat the steps 2-4 for a total of 4-6. breaks per session - Take a longer break (15-30 minutes) after four cycles Challenges and Solutions: 1. Difficulty staying focused: Use music, noise-cancelling headphones, or website blockers. I prefer music under such circumstances. 2. Interruptions: Communicate your schedule to colleagues and others. Important, as this can ruin a lot of things. The flow of thoughts gets derailed. 3. Burnout: May require slightly longer break intervals or a conscious effort to re-align thoughts.
