𝐈 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐓! That statement could shake any company to its core. As the HR go-to, I'm all about making our squad happy and sticking around for the long haul. Inspired by a newbie we recently brought on board, I'm jazzed about trying out fresh ways to keep everyone on their A-game. Throwback to when I was going through resumes and noticed Aaira. She was buzzing with excitement to join our crew. That got me thinking: it's not just about hiring folks; it's about showing 'em they're valued. That's why I dove headfirst into the latest employee engagement trends. I wanted to make sure our team wasn't just content but thriving! Remembering the visionary Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his Jayanti. Reflecting on Dr. Ambedkar's enduring vision this Ambedkar Jayanti. Let's commit to building a future that upholds his principles of equality and integrity. As we celebrate Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, the architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice, we cannot forget his unwavering commitment to equality for all – especially the marginalized as it continues to inspire us till today. His pioneering work in promoting equality and justice resonates deeply with our mission at #HirePlusPlus. We believe that every individual deserves equal opportunities to succeed, regardless of background. That's why we have built #HirePlusPlus, a platform that empowers companies to remove unconscious bias and build diverse, high-performing teams only the basis of skills of the individual and not his background. Only By embracing diversity and inclusion (D&I) in hiring, we unlock the full potential of our workforce and build a more equitable future. Today, let us embrace the spirit of Dr. Ambedkar’s vision by continuing to champion diversity and inclusion in every part of our lives, ensuring that every individual has the chance to thrive. Together, we can create workplaces – and a world – where equality and the pursuit of knowledge reign supreme. #AmbedkarJayanti #EqualityDay #KnowledgeDay #DiversityInclusion #Hireplusplus #AmbedkarJayanti #Equality #SocialJustice #India #AmbedkarJayanti #Equality #SocialJustice #DiversityandinInclusion #HRTech #Hireplusplus

GTM isn’t easy, that’s why I’m here I Founder and CEO @Leadle I Crafting lead gen strategies for start-ups
I have a dream of a better India, where everyone has access to opportunities - Ratan Tata 😊 Today, more initiatives than ever are empowering women to achieve financial independence and economic stability. Women now have better access to education, healthcare, and skill development programs. TATA Trusts with their women empowerment and wellness initiatives are working towards making his vision a reality: 📍Internet Saathi - A digital literacy program in partnership with Google, trains women, known as "Internet Saathis" to use the internet, enabling them to access information, improve livelihoods, and educate others in their communities. 📍Okhai - Okhai focuses on empowering women artisans from rural communities, by providing them with training, design knowledge, and market access to ensure these women gain recognition and a stable income from their artisanal skills. 📍Nirantar - Nirantar seeks to provide women and adolescent girls with tools for critical thinking, improving their employability and decision-making abilities. Nirantar also works on issues like sexual and reproductive health education, making it a holistic approach to women’s empowerment, touching on both personal and professional growth. The list goes on. And yet, the empowerment deficit according to the Women Empowerment Index (WEI) in India is 48%, which means women are empowered to achieve only 62% of their full potential. While this is a big leap from where we were a few decades ago, we still have a long way to go to empower our women to their full potential. Imagine how powerful, economically stable, and culturally advanced we would be if we empowered our women to achieve their fullest potential. Now, that’s a vision Ratan Tata would have wished to see happen. Maybe that’s a vision he hoped we could achieve. And building a supportive, nurturing and inclusive work and home environment is a great place to start. #RatanTata #leadership #womenempowerment #equality

Chef and entrepreneur - Masterchef finalist 2023. Harrys_lunchbox(Insta handle) Co-founder& CEO: Itsy Bitsy Art & Craft & Little birdie crafts, Social entrepreneur empowering rural women.
🌍 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲: 𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐔𝐬! 🌱 You know, as I’ve navigated the world of business, one thing has become crystal clear: true growth isn’t just about me or my family; it’s about uplifting everyone around us. Let me share a few lessons that have shaped my journey. Traveling extensively across India, I witnessed the heartbreaking reality of women in rural areas. Many lived in poverty, facing both physical and mental abuse, trapped in a cycle of suffering with little hope for a brighter future. These experiences shaped my commitment to create meaningful change. There’s amazing potential in rural India—those areas are bursting with talent and need jobs more than ever. 🙌 Imagine the impact we could make by creating opportunities there! By producing in rural areas and selling in urban markets, we can create a more balanced distribution of wealth. It’s a win-win for both sectors! At Itsy Bitsy Pvt Ltd, we recognized the untapped potential in these communities. By providing training, resources, and a platform, we empower these talented women to showcase their skills. It’s not just about creating jobs; it’s about building a supportive ecosystem where they can thrive. Every woman we empower not only transforms her life but also positively impacts her family and community. We believe in fostering rural-urban partnerships, promoting sustainable growth, and ensuring that wealth is distributed more evenly. Every day, I am reminded that 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘧𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘣𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘤𝘩. ✨ Together, we are building a brighter, more inclusive future—one where every woman has the opportunity to rise. . . #ruralindia #teamwork #entreprenurship

Did you recently? - insist everyone come to the office every Tuesday and Wednesday, causing Debbie to quit because the extra $$ of childcare just didn’t make sense? - Pass over Sharon for the director job, even though she’s perfect for it, as she needs to work part time? - Advertise a new role as ‘full time, in office preferred, flexibility considered (talk to us!)’ - Get a ‘great deal’ when hiring Jenny because you didn’t put a salary range in the PD, and she undervalued herself (h/t Sarah-Jane Botham for the suggestion) - Promote Jeremy to that EGM role over Lakshmi and Ming because "it's really a full on leadership role and you need someone with "gravitas" who can really get things done, you know" (h/t Sriraman ("Sri") Annaswamy GAICD IIT IIM ) Then put your cupcake down and have a think about what you are doing. (Yes, before you say it, I know - in some cases first hand - that these are not issues solely affecting women, but they still disproportionately affect women’s participation and progression in the workforce) Edit: Some great suggested additions from people - going to run into the character limit if there’s many more so if people want to add to the list of little vignettes - repost and add away! #iwd2024
