Project Progress Update: Mobile Lime Dosing Plant Design Phase We're excited to share that the design phase for our mobile lime dosing plant project for our client in #Zambia is well underway! Our engineering team is hard at work, meticulously planning and refining every detail to ensure this innovative solution meets the standards of efficiency and reliability. Here’s a quick overview of what’s being designed: Skid Mounted Makeup System: This static system will feature a tank designed to accommodate manual unloading. It includes a diesel motor-run agitator and a float level indicator for ease of use. A diesel generator will drive the agitator and a centrifugal pump, used to feed water from the customer's tank and to pump out the slurry to the dosing system. A series of diaphragm valves will control various flows to ensure smooth operations. Trailer Mounted Dosing System: This mobile plant will feature a tank for dosing and will be equipped with a 20m hose with a frame for easy roll-up. The bypass design allows for continuous slurry movement, preventing lime from settling during transport. ✨ In oil and gas construction projects, you often encounter the joining of pipe materials such as Carbon Steel (CS) and Stainless Steel (SS). For CS, a 3-coat system (Zinc Rich Epoxy, Epoxy MIO, and PU) is typically used for field touch-up painting. SS usually receives Phenolic Epoxy. Operating Temperature. -20 to 120 deg Celsius. Both non- insulated. ⁉️ However, if the coating specification does not directly specify what paint system should be applied to the overlapping section on weld joints. What would you suggest for this joint portion, given the conditions above? Additionally, what type of corrosion might occur in this area? I greatly appreciate your comments and thoughts on this matter.
