Our relationship with Shepard just continues to get bigger and bigger. Already in 2024- our team has already filmed in three different cities, not to mention being very close to finalizing an 8-part How-to Series that was filmed in our home studio in Atlanta. This video below was from our shoot in San Antonio last month. We sent our Producer/Director Josh Angus out to The Lone Star State to capture some Shepard-related footage at the Tech Advantage conference. One thing about partnering with Consume Media is that for out of town shoots, we will ALWAYS send out at least one member of our team to out of town shoots. Often multiple individuals depending on the size and scope of the project. I've heard horror stories from clients who have had similar projects, where production companies just contract out the entire gig- which ultimately leads to a mismatch between the goal and result of the project. I promise you, the initial investment is always going to be worth it. Remember the old adage 'Buy Cheap, Buy Twice' #videomarketing #eventmarketing

Here are my warm-weather filming essentials: ☀️ SPF is non-negotiable—and regular reapplication is key. 🔋 Battery packs ensure all equipment stays charged. 💦 Stay hydrated—it’s easy to lose track when you’re in the zone. 📸 Two cameras or phones help avoid downtime if one overheats. 🗒️ Printed shot lists are a must in areas with patchy reception. It’s all about staying flexible and keeping the shoot on track, no matter what the day throws at you. THE MAGIC OF DOLLY No, we don't mean Dolly Parton... although she is amazing! We sometimes choose a "dolly shot" by placing the camera on top of a piece of video equipment that looks similar to a skateboard riding on two rails. When the Director calls "action", the DP either pushes the camera toward the subject or laterally around the subject.
