All of these Psychologists have certainly made important contributions. But using citation metrics to rank "Top" scientists ignores the many other ways that scientists contribute to or harm scientific progress. As we've recently seen in various fraud and questionnable research practice investigations in the behavioral sciences, some scientists may look astounding on a limited number of dimensions such as citations or publications, but pollute the scientific literature with unreliable research or as toxic mentors and colleagues. By focusing on individual achievements, such metrics incentivize scientists to do whatever is best for their careers, regardless of what is best for science. We need to move towards a system when scientists are rewarded or punished for their entire range of contributions to science, not just their individual achievements. This is a pretty cool accolade to have and a great group of colleagues to be in.

As we wrap up another month, I want to take a moment to remind us all of something incredibly important: the power of celebrating our wins, no matter their size. Whether today was slightly better than yesterday, this week smoother than the last, or this month more fruitful than its predecessor, each of these moments is a milestone worth recognizing. It's easy to get caught up in the pursuit of our next big goal, to constantly be looking forward, striving for more. But in doing so, we often overlook the small victories that pave our path. These wins, no matter how minor they may seem, are the building blocks of our larger successes. They deserve to be celebrated. Let's allow ourselves to pause, to appreciate these moments. Reflect on the journey you've embarked upon, the progress you've made. Remember the days when you could only dream of being where you are today, doing the things you're doing now. This reflection is not just an exercise in gratitude, but a powerful reminder of your growth and resilience. Let’s be proud of all we've encountered—the good and the bad, the ups and the downs. Each experience has contributed to our journey, shaping us for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Here's to preparing ourselves for what's next, with the wisdom gained from where we've been. Let's continue to move forward, but never forget to celebrate how far we've come.

Here's how you can exude confidence during property inspections and showings1Know Your StuffBefore stepping into a showing or inspection, ensure you're armed with all the necessary information about the property. This includes understanding the property's features, history, and any maintenance issues that have been addressed or are pending. When you can answer questions on the spot and provide detailed explanations, you signal to prospects that you're a reliable and authoritative source, which builds trust and confidence in your ability to manage the property. This is where invited experts will be adding contribution.2Dress the PartFirst impressions matter and your appearance plays a significant role in how others perceive your confidence. Dressing professionally for property inspections and showings sends a message that you take your role seriously. It's not just about wearing a suit; it's about choosing attire that is clean, well-fitted, and appropriate for the property's style and the expectations of your audience.3Positive Body LanguageYour body language speaks volumes before you even say a word. Maintain eye contact, offer a firm handshake, and stand tall with your shoulders back. These non-verbal cues project self-assuredness. Additionally, a genuine smile can make you appear more approachable and friendly, which can help put prospective tenants or buyers at ease.4Clear CommunicationCommunicating clearly and concisely is essential during showings and inspections. Avoid using jargon that might confuse your audience, and instead, explain terms in simple language. Speak at a measured pace, loud enough to be easily heard. By ensuring your message is understood, you demonstrate command over the subject matter and respect for your audience's comprehension.5Anticipate QuestionsProspective tenants and buyers will likely have questions, so anticipate these inquiries and prepare your responses in advance. Knowing the common concerns and interests related to the property allows you to address them proactively, which can impress your audience and further establish your expertise and preparedness.6Handle ObjectionsHandling objections gracefully is a true test of confidence. Stay calm and listen carefully to any concerns raised. Acknowledge the validity of the concern and provide a thoughtful, solution-oriented response. This shows that you are not only confident in the property's value but also in your ability to manage any issues that may arise
Congratulations on this incredible achievement! Being named Employee of the Month is a testament to your hard work and dedication. You’ve set a great example for everyone, and we are excited to see what you’ll accomplish in the future."

Mars consistently wins plaudits for being one of the best places to work. I recently celebrated my 10th anniversary here and I know it deserves to top every single list. I have worked with exceptional Associates on our confectionery and snack bar units, and the past six years leading our UK marketing team has been a career and personal highlight. Over my 10 years, three things especially stand out that I'm grateful to have learned: 📈 Coaching & Development: Make this your first priority as a leader. Too many amazing talents are struggling with Imposter Syndrome, spend your energy building their energy and their self-belief. 💡 Perspective: Great ideas are everywhere. Be curious and seek out diverse perspectives globally because every problem has inspiring solutions waiting to be discovered. 🤝 Purpose: First I learned about Economics of Mutuality, then we began to pivot our iconic brands like Maltesers and Galaxy into new purpose-led campaigns. All because "profit without purpose isn't meaningful, and purpose without profit isn't possible." Thanks to my Founders, Rockstars and Good Rebels teams for teaching me so much and embracing being the only ones who do what you do. Thanks to my UKLT peers for creating high standards and high care working together everyday. Special thanks to Roy Benin and Seth Klugherz for bringing me into Mars, and to the many who have taken time to coach me over the years, including Adam Grant, Michelle Frost, Hank Izzo, Matthew Lloyd, Tracey Massey, Berta de Pablos-Barbier, Blas Maquivar, Andrew Clarke, Marc Carena and Rankin Carroll. Here’s to the next 10 years of Tomorrow Starts Today!

Celebrating my new certification! I am thrilled to share a significant milestone in my professional journey - the achievement of becoming a Belbin Team Roles Accredited Facilitator. This accomplishment represents not only personal growth but also a commitment to fostering effective teamwork and enhancing organisational success. Successful teamwork isn't merely about assembling a group of individuals; it requires a deep understanding of team dynamics and the roles each member plays. This is where Belbin Team Roles come into play. Developed by Dr. Meredith Belbin, it offers a framework for identifying and understanding the behavioural strengths and weaknesses within teams. By recognising and leveraging these roles, teams can enhance communication, collaboration, and overall performance. From the "Resource Investigator" to the "Completer Finisher," each role brings unique attributes essential for team success.

Best month ever! This month has been incredible, and it's not just about the financial impact – it's about the people we've been able to help. Seeing clients overcome challenges and witnessing their company growth has made this the best month ever for aHRrow. It's more than just hitting professional milestones; it's about the genuine connections and the fulfillment that comes from making a positive impact. The stories of resilience, the obstacles overcome, and the gratitude shared have given these days a depth that goes beyond any financial measure. Success, in my view, is all about the difference we make in others' lives. These moments of triumph have become the heart and soul of my career, adding a profound sense of purpose. This month has reinforced that true success is not just about numbers on a balance sheet. It's about the lives touched, the positive influence shared, and the human connections that make every effort worthwhile. As we celebrate these victories, let's relish the joy that comes not from monetary gains but from the meaningful impact we've had on the lives of others. Here's to a month where success is measured in stories, personal growth, and the meaningful bonds we've created.
