Lola’s Training Journey: Progress Beyond the Home! I’m thrilled to share an update on Lola, a 3.5-year-old Chihuahua mix I’ve been working with. When we first started training, she was hesitant about outdoor environments, especially when it came to doing commands like sit, down, stay, and come on grass—something she had never done before. 🌿 Our goal with Lola’s training is to build confidence and adaptability, ensuring she can follow commands not just in the home, but in any environment she encounters. Training is about more than just obedience; it’s about helping her thrive in any situation, whether indoors or out. Lola’s family has been fantastic at reinforcing these skills across all settings. 🏡🐕 Adaptability in dogs is key, just as it is in our professional lives. It’s important to stay flexible and prepared to handle various situations, much like we are helping Lola learn to do. 🐕💼 If you’re looking to improve your dog’s adaptability and behavior, I’d be happy to share more about how I can help. #DogTraining #Adaptability #PetBehavior #ProfessionalDevelopment #LeadershipThroughTraining #DogPrincipal

Talking about safety and summer usually makes people think about drinking water, putting on sunscreen, and using bug spray. Here at BBYO CAW, summer safety means creating healthy boundaries with counselors, body safety, not keeping secrets, and more. Help make sure that your camper is ready by: 🔹 Providing a clear understanding of where they can go for help at camp or at home 🔹 Teaching them about body safety and that they can say no to any touch, high-five, or hug from an adult or peer 🔹 Encouraging surprises but not keeping secrets – everyone eventually gets let in on surprises but no adult should ask a child to keep a secret Let’s make sure that every camper feels confident to take on camp in a safe and healthy way this summer.

The power of outdoor education, the joy of being at one with nature. We must look at how we continue to try and “contain”children in classrooms and give them more access to the outside for learning. Being outdoors resets our nervous systems and regulates our emotions. Let’s get outdoors more, let’s open our children’s eyes and get them learning outside with curiosity and joy. https://lnkd.in/ebDaf263
