As progress on the Safe Routes to School project continues, you may notice changes to areas around the designated School Zone too. Where School Zone signs do not include a posted speed limit, these are considered School Areas. These areas have lower risk and consider school type, road classification, road proximity to school, location of signalized intersections, and other deciding variables. School Zone sign installations will be fully complete by September 3rd. Elm tree trimming will take place after the August 31 tree trimming ban is lifted. #CityMJ #SafetyFirst

There are so many things to consider when opening a new school. Do you open with one grade level at a time?
