Last week, Google experienced a 𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐀𝐏𝐈 𝐝𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. A set of signals on how Google Search works, what it cares about, how it ranks content... we got an unprecedented look into Google’s inner workings. The leak has been shared, reported and documented by renowned SEO experts Rand Fishkin and Mike King. Amidst the vast amount of leaked information and authors covering/discussing it, we've been looking for articles that summarize it quite well: 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗸𝗶𝗻'𝘀 𝟳 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼: https://lnkd.in/gbMcSksF 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀: https://lnkd.in/eKHzAXXQ 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱: https://lnkd.in/e-d2Ntxq https://lnkd.in/ejSBNB4Z 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗸? 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱? The following video gives a pretty good idea: https://lnkd.in/edbv_tXc 𝗡𝗼 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀? 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀. The leak reveals that the following factors are more important than ever for organic search success: ✅Focus on brand. Building a strong recognized brand is a hugely important ranking factor for SEO. ✅ Domain authority: Google does measure sitewide authority. ✅ Google tracks Chrome visits to determine user behavior. ✅ User experience is king. ✅ CTR does actually matter. ✅ So does Page titles. ✅ Backlinks are still a key factor. ✅ Dates, freshness and author expertise are important.

The Relevance of Google's Disavow Tool in 2024 🤔 With Google’s evolving algorithms, the relevance of the disavow tool is under scrutiny. Introduced in 2012, experts now question its necessity, noting minimal impact on rankings. John Mueller's and Majestic recent stances reflect a shift away from disavowing links. The need for manual disavowal diminishes as Google increasingly ignores low-value links algorithmically. Although it may be difficult to digest, use the Disavow tool only when a manual action hits you due to low-quality backlinks. Please read my latest article for an in-depth analysis. https://lnkd.in/gy-tZjKc #SEO #Google #DigitalMarketing #SEOTips

Recently, an internal Google document leak revealed insights into Google Search and ranking factors. And the SEO community went into a bit of a frenzy. We’ll be writing a blog about this in due course to explain the relevant findings. However, some of the findings confirm what we know already: that it’s important to write for your audience and not for Google, that not all links are of equal value, and user experience is paramount. #Google #Copestone #SEO

Google's shaking things up again! 🤯 Is Google rethinking its SERP layout? It seems so! The search giant is experimenting with mini knowledge panels, a smaller version of the familiar info box, now nestled in the top right corner. This could mean big changes for SEO and user experience. Less prominent knowledge panels might give organic results a stronger visual presence, but it also raises questions about how this will impact click-through rates and overall search visibility. What do you think about this new Google test? Could it be a game-changer for SEO or just a minor tweak? Share your thoughts in the comments below! 👇 #Google #SEO #SERP #KnowledgePanel #DigitalMarketing #OnlineBusiness Let's discuss the potential implications of this change together!
