This was an image of this morning's casual 6am setup at a conference at The Vineyard Hotel for 16 attendees: "The Early Bird Gets the... Om?" As many of you might know, I also teach private yoga classes (along with running Social Ideas Digital Marketing), and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE teaching big groups and corporate classes! Coming from a corporate background myself, I feel that there are so many wellness aspects that can bring countless benefits that just aren't being explored to their full extent... just yet at least ;) Going into a busy corporate day with a relaxed, clear and strong energy makes the world of difference to how that day is experienced and how stress is managed throughout. #corporatewellness #corporateyoga #conferencewellness #corporateevents

As part of #mentalhealthawareness week I'm sharing a 45 minute session with a large housing association today. Things I observe when holding these sessions: 👉🏽 There's still a huge pre-conception that yoga is a reserve of the thin, white and flexible (It's not). 👉🏽 Some of you think you'll be busting out headstands (you won't). 👉🏽 The understanding of what a simple movements and breath-work can do, is minimal (I'll change that). 👉🏽 The belief that yoga is woo-woo? Absolutely rife! Yet I see you with those hydrogen water bottles, drinking in pseudoscience 😉 (fair play to the marketing teams who work on those things). The truth is that Yoga, and all of its disciplines, are designed to quieten the mind, build self-awareness and improve your wellbeing. Something we could all do with. Don't ya think?
