The Clinical Evaluation starts much before the device's clinical strategy is decided. However, the actual Clinical Evaluation Report takes shape in the Clinical Phase. Often, the clinical research is involved after the preclinical phase in most organizations. However, most effective and best practice and also intended by regulation is to include the clinical research from Concept phase to perform clinical feasibility and functional viability. Also, most of Clinical Research in case of Medical Devices Start from regulators. Mostly, the studies are conducted as required / instructed by the regulators. Often, the post marketing studies in the sustenance phase are the only clinical evidence of the device. #CLINICAL_TRIAL Clinical trials are scientific research studies that help determine the safety and effectiveness of an intervention (new medication, vaccine, device, procedure, or anything with therapeutic purposes). ➡️Clinical trials are done on humans, and are often the last step before an intervention is approved for use by the general public. ➡️The main goal of a clinical trial is to find out if the intervention actually works, and for that, there needs to be an experimental group 🚻that gets the new intervention and a control group 🚻that doesn’t. ➡️ Researchers should eliminate as many external factors as possible, as they could affect the results. ➡️ There are multiple ways to design a clinical trial,e.g. randomized-controlled clinical trial, pre-post study. #clinicaltrials #cra #research
