You'll see plenty of posts about product releases or new services on LinkedIn but I thought it's more important to define WHY someone might want to choose you.
We have plenty of great products at affordable prices and we can get them to you quickly but so do our competitors so how can we stand out from the crowd.
I think it all comes down to values....
my Saturday job aged 16 was in a builders merchant (back in the days before B&Q) and the values they held then formed my whole future career.
1. Treat every customer with respect and like they were your only customer.
2. Build a relationship and get to know them .... who knows where that will lead for both of you.
3. If you'd be embarrassed telling your mum what you're doing then it's probably wrong so don't do it.
4. Would you like to be treated this way? - if not then don't be that person.
5. Stay positive and say it with a smile - even when things are going wrong.
I think that's a pretty good starting point but have I missed anything?
