MightyFly is working with the FAA to perfect it’s autonomous operations for BVLOS flights while also proving the performance of it’s third iteration of their air vehicle, Cento. This version is expected to be the production prototype and puts them on a good path to quick certification once given their G-1 by the FAA. As noted in the article, MiggtyFly is hampered by a lack of larger investment dollars. Their various contracts and grants have been well spent on critical design upgrades and experiments that help develop the autonomous/BVLOS capability. Their focus last year on Michigan may have been a play towards the automotive industry and possible investment, but there is no news from that front. Working in California may entice others that can use the point-to-point delivery to expedite cargo /parts delivery to point of sale. #aam #mightfly #singleseatconaulting
