While it is nice to hear about orgs doing a fabulous and advanced job of measuring outcomes, not everyone is at that stage. Did you know there are things you can do TODAY to get started? E.g. signing up for this SIMNA Western Sydney and SIMNA Sydney webinar. You'll get some inspiration and tips but more importantly become part of our impact measurement community - outcomes measurement can feel like lonely and confusing at the outset but we are here to keep you company, hear ideas, answer questions and ask questions :) #outcomesmeasurement #simna #impactmeasurement #webinar

Have you ever had a moment where you could almost literally taste “community”? I walked into a café yesterday in Lisbon and saw a Christmas Tree with beautiful messages from people who frequent the café, it immediately put a big smile on my face and made me think of every person who had stopped in their tracks to take a moment to write down a kind and memorable note. What if our communities are the perfect space to start living out the future we want to see—right here, right now? We become what we practice, and communities provide an incredible opportunity to practice and model the kind of world we hope to create. They are tangible, accessible, and immediate—a small-scale way to embody a more relational, equitable, and caring future. Communities allow us to experiment with the “more beautiful world our hearts know is possible,” in ways that feel doable and impactful. The beauty of communities is their simplicity—anyone can join or create one. All it takes is a connection between two or more people. While solving global issues like climate change can feel overwhelming, building and shaping a community is something within all of our spheres of influence. The future, I believe, is built fractally. It doesn’t require one grand unified movement, but rather countless small, intentional actions taken by many groups. Each community can contribute to a more just, compassionate, and connected world by treating one another differently. Whether it’s choosing generosity, navigating conflict in restorative ways, or experimenting with financial solidarity, communities offer us a chance to embody the values of the future today. The question becomes: How can we design our communities to reflect the future we dream of? From how we invite new members, handle resources, and care for those who move on, to how we approach transparency and decision-making—every interaction is an opportunity to create the world we want to live in. And personally, I ask myself: How can I start embodying the future I hope to create right now? During this holiday season, maybe you can find a space within your gatherings to discuss, how you will start to embody the future you hope to create in 2025! #Communities #Action #TheFutureIsNow

Ever notice how one person’s profound passion can create a ripple? That’s our goal. Tossing a pebble into the hands of those who don’t simply want to make a transaction - they want to start a movement. We believe in the power of trust. That when you feel a sense of belonging + connection - you lean in. And bring your friends. And those friends bring friends. Ripple, ripple, ripple… This is the story of We Are For Good. This is how our story and movement grew. One-by-one, person-by-person, believer-by-believer - the Impact Uprising grew and expanded. So we imagined: what would happen if even half of our community invited five friends into #ImpactUp. What could that yield? We believe it could be huge. So today we’re asking you - our friends to step forward and share our July 11 gathering with five friends. You can share this post. You could tag five people below. You can do it via text or in-person. We’re just asking for your belief + connection. You in? People ask us often how they can help this movement. This is how. Invite people in. Tell them why you believe. Come together. We promise we’ll save a comfy seat. The Impact Uprising is building. It only needs you + your belief. Thanks for sharing (and caring!) Registration link in comments - it's FREE to join us! #impactuprising #impactup

Money is still such a taboo in creative and impact driven spaces. Don't we do things for the love of art, people and planet? Aren't we so impact driven, we don't really care about meeting our own needs? It's ok to sacrifice our own well being, in benefit of our craft, our purpose, our contribution. For most of my life, I didn't give a damn - for as long as I could pay the bills and make my living, money was the dirty thing I needed to get by, and I couldn't care less. I was too busy with my projects and ideas, until a desire became clear: to buy a piece of land I could preserve and regenerate, where I could create a shared space for culture, art, community and ecology. A space that could mimic a small scale version of what a more beautiful and just world could look like, where I could witness regeneration in practice. A life of slowness and connection. The thing standing on the way of that dream was not money, as I had though - it was the lack of it. From that realisation I was left with two choices - either face my deep-seated money issues and make my way to that vision, or abandon that dream to a life of delusion and frustration. I chose the first, and it's been a ride of self-discovery and reflection way deeper than I ever thought. Now I am opening up spaces for these conversations and meanderings to happen collectively, so we don't need to do the work alone. After a first edition of the Money Mindset Workshop where I welcomed more than 30+ inspiring creatives, tomorrow I will be hosting the second edition and there are still a couple of spaces left - and it's FREE! Sign-up here, and share with a friend who might need this space: https://lnkd.in/dERuTs2N Some of the beautiful people who joined our last session: Karolina Jakubowska Robbin Remers Beth Walrond Anton Zenker Juan Carlos Rosa Casasola Zoya Misha - Thank you for your trust and enriching participation 🌱
