Why is asking for help so hard? For so many of us, there’s this little voice that says, “You should be able to handle this on your own.” But here’s the thing: you don’t have to do it all. And you shouldn’t. Leaning on others—whether it’s a friend, a mentor, or even a professional—opens up possibilities we can’t always see when we’re buried in the day-to-day grind. That’s why we're big believers in fractional talent. It’s not just about outsourcing tasks—it’s about letting go of what’s weighing you down so you can focus on what really matters. Whether you’re launching a new campaign, juggling client calls, or finally trying to take that long-overdue vacation, a little help goes a long way. If you’ve ever struggled with asking for help, you’re not alone. But what if this is your sign to let someone else lighten the load? Taylor’s got a great take on this in her latest video. 🎥 Let’s talk: What’s one thing you’d let go of if you could? 👇

I started a business with my husband… and he drives me CRAZY Here are 3 reasons I hate working with my husband: 1. He MADE me a better communicator 😡 I’ve always been the type to beat around the bush or take things too personally. But no, he won’t have any of that. He insists on directness and sincerity, holding up a mirror to my habits and helping me grow—whether I like it or not. He pushes me to be more open and to take his feedback at face value. With his pure intentions, I’ve come to trust and value this direct honesty. It’s annoying how it’s actually working. 2. We HAVE to share everything: vision, goals, even snacks 😪 Sharing? Wasn’t my favorite activity in kindergarten, still isn’t now. But here we are, sharing everything from business visions to daily goals. The origins of Melina trace back to his battles with cluster headaches, inspiring us to quit our tech jobs and help others just as he wished someone had helped him. Day in and day out, we’re in lockstep on where we want our business to go. Annoyingly perfect alignment? Absolutely. To compromise, he’s the snack manager. 😤 3. Together all day, every day 🙄 Our home is our office, and our office feels like home, meaning I’m stuck with him 24/7. We tackle everything together, from business crises to customer successes, and somehow have way too much fun doing it. I can’t escape him, and that’s great because I don’t want to 😉 In all seriousness, starting Melina with my husband is the second best decision I've ever made (marrying him was the first), but who doesn’t love a little drama in a LinkedIn post? 😁 🖤 Jeremy Watson is not just my business partner; he’s my best friend, and together, we’re building something special. And yes, it’s challenging and intense, but it’s also unbelievably rewarding. ❤️

You’ve skipped another family dinner because “the business needs you”… 😔 As you glance at your phone, you see a photo—your kids, smiling at the table without you. You tell yourself you’ll make it up to them. Later. But “later” always feels out of reach. 👉 The harsh truth is: the deadlines keep stretching, the workload keeps piling, and that “someday” never comes. You're spread too thin to notice the cost—missed hugs, bedtime stories untold, unspoken conversations. And here’s the kicker: the very *freedom* you wanted when you started your business? You’re paying for it—second by second—with your life. Constant responsibility has chained you, and you wonder silently, *“Was it even worth it?"* 😔 But here’s the good news that no one shares enough: It doesn’t HAVE to be this way. There’s another way of showing up for your clients *while showing up for your family—and yourself.* Imagine hearing *every laugh at that dinner table,* seeing every small win, simply because you'd mastered *time+"purpose-driven priorities* instead of burning every candle. Catch yourself dreaming for a moment—or do more. Ready to rewrite your story, too?

New client signed up today! Best part about it? I worked with them 7 years ago. When the founders ran a different company. They even invited me to come meet them in Dallas… With my then 2 year-old daughter. A couple of weeks ago, the founder’s name popped up on my phone. “Hello?” I asked, surprised. “Are you still writing?” He asked. I told home about my company. About how much I had grown. About my divorce. About how amazingly my daughter is doing. “What we always remembered about you is how much you believed in storytelling,” he said. “We realize how important that is now.” I had written the best direct-response piece in the history of their business, generating $100K’s in revenue for a single product. Now, we’re working together on their new venture. And I couldn’t be more excited to bring my entire team into the fold. Authenticity has always been my superpower. It’s led to incredible connections. And grown my business in meaningful ways. Is this how you approach business? Do your clients call you after years and years to work together again? Because mine do. And I am so, so grateful. ** Hi, I’m Judy. I’m the founder of Wild Hearted Words, a powerful branding + marketing agency that creates storytelling + design that moves the heart. As a business owner, my mantra has always been about responsibility... 🌟 - Responsibility for my company's triumphs. 🚀 - Responsibility for making our clients smile. 😊 - Responsibility for the heartbeat of our team - our employees. ❤️ But let's dive deeper than the usual work-life balance or mental health talks. I'm talking about their entire world - their financial safety net, their dreams, and their futures. Why? Because these aren't just employees. They're individuals. 🌱 Individuals with families depending on them, with aspirations that stretch beyond the office walls, and with fears that keep them up at night. They've placed their trust in me and in what we're building together. And trust me, I don't wear this trust lightly. It's more than a responsibility; it's a commitment I cherish! Because, at the end of the day, it's all about ensuring we're not just surviving, but thriving. Together. 🌟 And trust me, I'm all in for this journey! I'd love to hear your thoughts. 💭 How do you ensure your employees feel safe and valued? Let's start a conversation. 💬 Don't forget to like 👍, share 🔄 and follow for more insights! 📚

5 business lessons I learned from my Dad 🧢 With Father's Day just behind us, I thought, why not share some business wisdom from our dads? I always love getting to know everyone a bit more. So, here’s what my dad taught me: ❤️ Kill them with kindness: When clients or colleagues are being, well... challenging (to keep it PG), keep your composure. Losing your cool only means you'll stew about it for weeks. 💪 Go for it! Life has its way of sorting out the mistakes and messes. Don't let fear hold you back, take the risk and grab happiness with both hands. 👪 Family first. Dad's favourite line: "The best job I had was being a dad." He worked long hours and you can feel the tinge of regret lacing his words. We all lean too hard into work sometimes. Learn to step back once in a while. 😹 Don't take yourself too seriously. My dad's a joker, always ready with a laugh. Humour can save even the roughest of days, even in business. 🎨 Less is more. Dad's a creative soul—painter, wordsmith, tear-jerker extraordinaire. As a content marketer, it's been the most important lesson I’ve learned: to cut the clutter, keep it clean, and make your point clear. Now I'm curious... Your turn! What have you learned from your influential figures? Share your lessons in the comments! 👇
