☀What have we been up to this summer so far? Sharon Yang, CFA led a session on Building Wealth for the California Climate Action Corps. Last week Marion Araque, M.Ed led an awesome workshop on Authentic Networking during a hybrid event for ScholarMatch first-gen scholars in San Francisco. Kristen Vellinger kicked off our "Think Like a Recruiter" community of practice series. We've also been busy providing content for interns and employers for the EDICT Internship program hosted by Elemental Excelerator and Clean Energy Leadership Institute. A manager who's going through our supervisor training shared: "So impressed with this program. Never managed people before. I’ve learned so much. Really got the help that I need. Helped me with my career. Working at a small org and never had the capacity to build out HR capacity. I love this program so far." Let's keep it up!

Excited to share a great opportunity for high school students! Creatorscircle.org is sponsoring a 6-week online summer fellowship program designed for up to 25 high school students from historically underserved communities who are interested in exploring impact-focused career paths while gaining practical college and career preparedness skills. The selected high school students will receive 1:1 mentorship, introductions to diverse professionals, and will be eligible to receive a $500 stipend to support their educational experience. This learning opportunity will also provide the student with the following: *An understanding of "purpose" and "impact" *A high level exploration of one of our career pathways *Knowledge and implementation of practical college and career preparedness skills *Current high school students involved in their school’s newspaper, yearbook, service, ASB or AV/tech clubs are encouraged to apply!
