Thank you to the group of amazing Women at Bell group who donated school supplies for YSB’s Youth Drop-In classroom. YSB works in partnership with young people as individuals, to understand what they need to ensure they feel seen, heard, and supported. As part of our shelters and housing program, YSB operates a downtown Youth Drop-In, open 365 days a year. Along with providing street-involved youth with staff support and guidance, the Youth Drop-In offers healthy meals, shower and laundry facilities, laundry, access to clothing, support and counselling. We also have an onsite classroom for youth to gain high school credits they may be missing in order to graduate. The kindness and generosity of a donation of backpacks and school supplies for YSB’s Youth Drop-In classroom students ensures that these youth are well-prepared with the tools they need to succeed and feel confident as they work towards their high school education. Thank you Bell, and the Women at Bell, for being such an incredible part of our community. Together, we are making a difference! #ThankYou #CommunitySupport #BackToSchool #Grateful

We are overjoyed to see that the children of Thundersley Primary School are enjoying their new IT equipment! Initially, pupils had to share their computers as the school didn’t have enough for a full class. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide over 100 laptops to their IT suite. Thundersley’s students can now be online together, meaning that more can be accomplished in their lessons. The Primary School’s Deputy Headteacher, Steve Mackay, told us that in addition to their PCs, the children’s new touch-screen laptops offer all the resources needed to support their lessons compared to their old Chromebook’s. To help us continue to improve children’s education, consider donating your used devices to Every Child Online through our website: https://lnkd.in/gXGH8nj Together, we close the digital divide. #everychildonline #itfullcircle #passiton #DigitalPoverty #DigitalInclusion #SocialValue #SocialImpact #EqualOpportunities #EducationEquality #InternetForAll #DigitalAccess #DigitalLiteracy #ClosingTheGap #digitaldivide #digitalisolation #sustainability #ESG #itad #environment #laptops #PCs #schools #charities #ewaste #recycleit #circulareconomy #learning #education #children #tech4good #Repurpose #Education #Reuse #Recycle Our supporting partners: Essex Ford, Allen Motor Group, #EssexFord #EssexFordTransitCentre #AllenFord Kennedys law, Sunrise Technologies Ltd, Essex Community Foundation.

I recently had the opportunity to connect with Ashby Field Primary School, a fantastic primary school at the heart of the Daventry community and learned about the incredible work they're doing to create a positive environment for their students. However, like many schools, they are facing increasing financial pressure and are looking for support from local businesses. There are many ways we can make a difference – from donating via their JustGiving page, supplying materials for school projects, or even volunteering our time and resources. Increasing financial pressure within schools is leading to heightened stress on teachers, as they face larger class sizes, reduced resources, and growing demands to meet diverse student needs with limited support. This strain can affect both their well-being and their ability to provide the highest quality education. Not only do our teachers provide the highest quality education, they also play a crucial role in safeguarding our children by creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment that promotes their well-being and development. Beyond academic instruction, teachers are often the first to recognize signs of emotional distress, abuse, or neglect, and their vigilance is instrumental in protecting vulnerable students. By fostering trusting relationships, educating children about their rights, and collaborating with parents, school staff, and child protection services, teachers help ensure that students feel secure, valued, and empowered. Their dedication to safeguarding is vital to the health, safety, and success of every child. If you're a local business or individual interested in making a difference, I encourage you to get involved in this wonderful cause that will help shape the future of our community. Your support can create lasting positive change and foster growth and opportunity for everyone. Together, we can build a brighter future! Please give what you can—every penny matters. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant impact and help us achieve our goals. Together, we can create meaningful change in our community! https://lnkd.in/e7PAwZae Let’s come together and make a real impact for the next generation! #CommunitySupport #EducationMatters #GivingBack #Daventry #Supportourteachers

CEO/Founder/Creative Director at WTTW Game Studios | Girl Dad | CCUFC #FreePalestine #OpenToNetwork #IndieRevolution
I’ve put together a list of all the ways the Charity I’m looking to start can help. It includes: -Instead of 3rd-6th, it could focus on all stages of childhood, through high school. We would partner with the scholarships available to provide additional funding in fields associated, to allow funding for those charities to go even further, doubling the good in the community. -I’d eventually look to bring industry professionals in to mentor, teach, speak, and advise. -I would look to have daycare-focusing on inner-city children means understanding mom and dad can’t afford childcare for the others. These daycares would focus on STEM to encourage development and interest at a young age. -I would look at partnering with the local school districts for after school care as well as potential in school teachings-like Trade Schools. -I would inquire into allowing a membership to allow additional enrollees. Every paid membership pays a membership for another child/family. -This would help encourage development in the industry in the Midwest, and could even set up partnerships/scholarships for college. -We could run a monthly publication, teaching kids how to write articles and build a brand about their writing, and give them experience. -Partnering with WTTW Games could get them into the industry right away.

Please give a little and help me and my colleagues at Sage make a real difference to the kids at Tullygally Primary School! 🙏🏻 If you can, please donate. Every £ will get us a step closer to having a huge impact on their future. Giving them computer skills at an early age is like giving them a passport to the world! Over 92% of jobs need digital skills and computer literacy. The ability to understand and use technology is no longer an optional skill. It is already a fundamental necessity. For the younger generation, computers and digital technology are their natural environment. Computer literacy extends far beyond being able to surf the internet or play video games. It includes understanding the operation of a computer and even early programming skills. This breadth of knowledge opens possibilities for creativity, collaboration, and exploration. It’s like equipping children with a passport to the world. This is where educational computers for kids serve as a versatile tool. It helps shape their learning experiences. Coordinator to Value360 & Audit Teams; Co-Chair of CohnReznick CARES Committee; North Carolina Notary Public
Hello Colleagues, Connections, and Friends! The CohnReznick LLP Charlotte office CARES initiative for July has been collecting donations for Classroom Central. Through their partnerships, each $1 donated becomes $9 worth of distributed supplies for students in our community. These donations give students the supplies they need for a successful school year. Every dollar donated (via the link below) through the end of the day today will go to purchasing kits that will be given to local students in need. We will assemble these kits ourselves, and deliver them to Classroom Central next month. Please consider making a small (or large) donation to our local students and teachers! Consider this insight from a 3rd-grade teacher in Charlotte: "There are always unseen challenges for students. As teachers, we strive to understand and address the struggles they face outside the classroom. When kids live in poverty and high-stress environments, focusing on learning to read or understand fractions becomes incrementally more difficult, not to mention the stress of worrying if they can get the necessary books and supplies they need to complete their homework and lessons. With the help of Classroom Central, I can alleviate at least one of their stressors, making it easier for them to feel capable and successful while they're at school." Thank you for any and all donations!! <3 https://lnkd.in/gQezNchQ
