It offers a fantastic opportunity to witness the world's top players battling it out in a breathtaking venue while immersing yourself in the exhilarating atmosphere of one of the most significant tournaments on the tennis calendar. Read all about it here: https://hubs.ly/Q02nWQBj0 The Miami Open, being a prestigious tennis tournament and major social event, attracts a significant number of high-net-worth individuals from around the world. This influx of #wealthy individuals brings about a positive impact on the local #economy, as they contribute to increased spending on #luxury goods, services, and #RealEstate. It's worth noting that this connection primarily focuses on the event's economic influence on Miami, rather than its implications on #taxation. The theme of our CBS Networking Event will be centred around "The Role and Impact of Micro-Businesses to the UK Economy." Micro-businesses are collectively speaking - making a significant contribution to the UK economy and to society as a whole.Micro-businesses are companies of up to ten people are not only an important component of the economy but play a major role in the process of “leveling up” disadvantaged regions of the UK. These category of companies collectively and individually, benefit their communities. They employ local people, shop in local shops and tend to look close to home for suppliers. However, not enough is being done to support these Micro-businesses. That support should span from financial, as well assistance in marketing, leveraging latest social media technologies as well as technical expertise. Our Key Note Speakers, Rashesh Joshi, the co-founder & Managing Director of Alexander Rosse and Shukeel A Chohan, who is a Motivational and Public Speaker, Trainer, Coach as well as a Sales and Business Strategist will be covering the role of Micro Businesses to UK economy. In particular Rashesh will be covering how Micro Businesses can leverage growth through the vast financial and funding packages that are available in the financial markets. Shukeel on the other hand will be covering how small business owners can motivate themselves in a challenging and uncertain economic climate.
CBS have organised another event on 5th March from 7pm. hopefully would love to see everyone there,as we are looking for approximately 90 guests at a Edgbaston Golf club. Also sponsorship packages available to businesses who would like to use CBS platform to reach out to other businesses. https://lnkd.in/eNp7d-vG

December 26 is not only a day for Santa Claus to catch his breath. It’s also a public holiday known as ‘Boxing Day’ in the UK & other British Commonwealth countries such as Australia, Canada & NZ. In spite of its peculiar name, Boxing Day has nothing to do with fisticuffs, the trashing of empty boxes left over from Christmas or the return of unwanted presents to department stores. The term is of British origin, & the Oxford English Dictionary traces its earliest print attribution to 1833, 4 years before Charles Dickens referred to it in “The Pickwick Papers.” The exact roots of the holiday name are unknown, but there are 2 leading theories, both of which are connected to charity traditionally distributed to lower classes on the day after Christmas. One idea is that December 26 was the day centuries ago when lords of the manor & aristocrats typically distributed “Christmas boxes” often filled with small gifts, money & leftovers from Christmas dinner to their household servants & employees, who were required to work on December 25, in recognition of good service throughout the year. These boxes were, in essence, holiday bonuses. Another popular theory is that the Boxing Day moniker arose from the alms boxes that were placed in churches during the Advent season for the collection of monetary donations from parishioners. Clergy members distributed the contents of the boxes to the poor on December 26, which is also the feast of St. Stephen, the first Christian martyr & a figure known for acts of charity. (Ireland celebrates December 26 as St. Stephen’s Day.) Although the practice of almsgiving on December 26 has faded with charity now being given in the weeks leading up to Christmas, the Boxing Day name has endured. These days, December 26 is a popular holiday in the UK & Commonwealth countries for watching sports such as soccer & cricket, shopping & visiting friends 📦 #boxingday #history #hillsdistrictsmallbusiness #hillsdistrictsydney #dural

Something tells us that after yesterday's 13th Annual JLL Real Estate Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament (congrats to the winners!) and a demanding morning, your minds are already on the weekend 😎 And we don't blame you!—we were there too! That's why we recommend checking out more books from our library. This time, our CEO, Tom—one of the biggest bookaholics on our team—shares his picks 🔥. On the list https://lnkd.in/drXSmcWU , you'll find: 📖 one book he’s read 3 or more times, 📖 one book he’s read twice, 📖 one book he’s read once, 📖 and one book he likes to jump across. Because more is better, right? In the photo: the library at the Grupa Pracuj office (source: press materials). Nice, isn't it? 🙃 If you have a book nook set up at your place, share a photo in the comments.
