🌟 CO-HATY: The Five Stages of Care 🌟 At CO-HATY, creating affordable housing for IDPs and vulnerable communities is more than just building walls — it’s about building care into every step of the process. Inspired by Joan Tronto’s concept of care, we’ve designed a five-stage approach that ensures the process is as meaningful as the outcome. 1️⃣ Caring About — Recognizing Needs Every project begins with attentiveness. We identified the urgent need for affordable, inclusive housing and committed to addressing it. 2️⃣ Caring For — Taking Responsibility We take ownership of these challenges, holding ourselves accountable to deliver high-quality housing aligned with our core values. 3️⃣ Care Giving — Supporting Through Action Care becomes tangible when we act. From innovative compact furniture designs to tailored support for IDPs, every detail reflects our dedication to creating spaces that feel like home. 4️⃣ Care Receiving — Listening and Improving Once residents move into CO-HATY housing, our work doesn’t stop. We stay connected, gather feedback, and adapt to ensure we’re truly meeting their needs. 5️⃣ Caring With — Building Solidarity Care transforms into trust and community. By consistently meeting needs, we foster solidarity and make care a shared value among all involved. Care is at the heart of everything we do. We’re proud to create not just housing, but a framework for dignity, inclusion, and collaboration.
