In 2021, I started a "scan a day" practice, documenting moments of life in 3D. Polycam was my tool of choice; it's been a wonderful journey since, documenting some of the most cherished moments of my life. To date, I have hundreds of 3D scans of Rainforests, Reefs, Family, Flowers and Environments. The team at PHORIA use polycam to rapidly prototype XR works and create lightweight 3D content over the web. We discussed some of the applications with the Polycam team and how we are using immersive content to connect users with sacred ecosystems we need to protect.
