Day-59: Trapping Rainwater 🌧️ 🔥 Approach: Using the Two Pointers + Greedy method to efficiently calculate trapped water. ✅ Steps: ➡️ Two pointers (l and r) start from the left and right ends of the array. ➡️ Maintain leftMax and rightMax to track the maximum heights encountered. ➡️ Move the pointer with the smaller height to determine trapped water: • If arr[l] < arr[r], check leftMax and update trapped water. • Otherwise, check rightMax and update water accordingly. ➡️ Continue until l < r. ⚡ Efficiency: ⏳ Time Complexity: O(n) (each element is processed once) 💾 Space Complexity: O(1) (only a few extra variables used) ✨ Two Pointers = Faster Water Trapping Calculation! 🚀

Inquiring minds want to know 🤔 What would your strategy be for insulation and air sealing on a crawlspace over piers (rather than a continuous concrete or PWF wall/curb)? I have never thought through this condition before. My initial thoughts are to infill between the piers to provide a continuous surface that can be air sealed with insulation on either the interior or exterior depending on surrounding conditions. What would you do?
Had a question recently about how to treat a crawlspace for insulation and air sealing. Interesting to learn that many buildings in mountainous B.C. use piers in place of building a mini-basement, as I’ve always thought was the best way to handle a crawlspace. I drew up a model of that ‘ideal’ situation but I’d like to know how others would treat an insulated and air sealed house on piers! What would you do?
