We took a deep dive into Chapter 6,7 and 8 Chapter highlights. Chapter 6: You Are Not a Lottery Ticket Some people believe success is as a result of lots of luck. However, the greatest thinkers believe it is the outcome of hard work. If you are an infite optimistic you will lean more towards luck. If you are definite optimist you will believe in putting in the hard work. If you are part of T#_378, you will conclude it is a blend of both hard work and lots of luck. Only 20% of startups will control 80% of thr market. A venture investor should pick a company with the potential of exponential growth and stick with it long enough before cashing in. You might own 100% of your very own startup, but there’s a big danger that you’ll end up owning 100% of nothing. It would be much better to own 0.01% of a company like Google. However, the lingering question was how practical is this principle in this side of the word. What major problems remain unsolved whose solutions that have potential of exponential growth. If you learn a secret, be careful who you share it with. As a rule of thumb, it’s best not to share secrets with anyone except for those you need to tell.
