In my journey from hospitality to real estate, I've discovered a profound connection between the two fields. The art of anticipating needs, once applied to hotel guests, now informs how we craft living spaces. I've learned that hospitality extends far beyond the walls of hotels and restaurants. It's about creating spaces where people feel truly at home. Hospitality taught me that exceeding expectations drives success. In real estate, we apply this by creating homes that enhance value and inspire loyalty. By anticipating needs, we craft desirable lifestyles, ensuring our business thrives through satisfied homeowners. #TuesdayThought #HospitalityIndustry #RealEstate #Uk #London

Sydney CBD’s Edinburgh Castle Hotel sold by JLL JLL's Hotels & Hospitality Group Managing Director, Ben McDonald, Senior Vice President Kate MacDonald and Capital Markets at JLL Senior Director James Aroney were responsible for steering the sale of the Edinburgh Castle Hotel in Sydney’s CBD. Standing prominently on the corner of Pitt and Bathurst Street, ‘The Eddy’ as it’s affectionately known was brought to market by JLL for the first time in over 20 years on behalf of its private owners. “Pubs continue to feature prominently as part of the ‘alternative’ real estate asset class and this result highlights the ongoing appetite and appeal of the sector to a growing audience.” Ben McDonald noted. Kate MacDonald also pointed to the enormous trading opportunity and the chance to re-staple the freehold and leasehold interests to create a freehold going concern operation for the first time in decades. Freehold investment hotel Mackay for sale - CBRE CBRE Hotels’ Wayne Bunz, Hayley Manvell and Taylor Morris have been exclusively appointed to market the freehold interest in Aligned Corporate Residences Mackay for sale. National Director Wayne Bunz commented “Freehold investment accommodation hotels continue to be highly coveted due to their scarcity, and the stable long-term passive income stream they provide.” The anchor lease to Aligned Corporate Residences extends until 2029 with options through to 2054. Additionally, the asset incorporates a leased restaurant and two commercial suites, providing income diversification. CBRE Director Hayley Manvell added, “Our recent sale of the Coral Cay Mackay demonstrated that investors are increasingly drawn to regional areas seeking superior returns compared to those offered in top-tier cities, that are also above the current cost of debt.” Read more on The Hotel Conversation - https://lnkd.in/gDVkyuAT CBRE Hotels Alexia Morelli Ashley Ferguson Wayne Bunz Hayley Manvell Taylor Morris Michael Simpson Steve Carroll Aaron Desange Paul Fraser Tom Gibson #cbrehotels #mackay #mackayforsale #hotelinvestment #mackayhotel #hotelforsale #queenslandre #hotelnews #hotelsforsale #hotelowners #hotelbusiness

The commercial real estate industry has struggled in the post-pandemic, high-interest-rate market, yet hotels have emerged as the exception. Our client, Peachtree Group CEO Greg Friedman, recently appeared on Yahoo Finance’s Catalysts show to discuss why hotels are outperforming and where he sees potential for recovery within the broader commercial real estate industry. Greg told Catalysts host Madison Mills, “the hotel industry, from a fundamental perspective, is benefitting from the fact that supply remains muted. Supply is growing at about a 40% reduction to historical averages and demand has held up.” Tune in to the full conversation below. #RFBClient #CRE #commercialrealestate #hospitality
