In February, we covered Amazon/AWS and Microsoft/Azure. This week, we will cover how to get into Netflix, Disney, Uber and Lyft. Please ping me on LI for the remote log in details. These weekly sessions are FREE and open to anyone. The post-pandemic teacher exodus has slowed. But in nine out of 10 states turnover remained higher than it was before 2019. Reasons cited include stagnant salaries, with the average public-school teacher making $66,000; competition from other fields with low unemployment and remote work options; and student behavioral issues that worsened during the pandemic. “I was a ninth-grade teacher, and my students were seventh graders emotionally,” one former Texas educator said of the post-COVID classroom. The end of pandemic aid means many schools will be unable to boost salaries or behavioral support. Of the 10 states that had recent exit data, Arizona, North Carolina and Virginia had the highest rates of teacher turnover in 2023. Hawaii and Maryland had the lowest turnover. https://lnkd.in/gvC2h8Fv
