Second, a #CyberAttack on a background check company exposed the personal data of nearly 3 billion people – one of the largest data breaches ever. Many victims may not realize their data was stolen. Finally, an annual study from Critical Start found that the vast majority of cybersecurity professionals (86%) are most concerned with unknown cyber risks, up 17% from last year. This could indicate a need for more proactive cyber risk management practices.
