There are so many things wrong with the post from McCullough Foundation on this matter. First, what is reported in VAERS has no correlation with causality and therefore cannot be directly linked to vaccines. Second, while of 11 August 2023, a total of 3078 reports of COVID-19 myocarditis (0.3% of all AEs) have been reported to VAERS, none of such have been directly linked to vaccine directly. Of these reports, 76% resulted in emergency care and hospitalization, while 3% suffered death. Among all reports, 69% of the myocarditis occurred in men. While this represents the state of the issue, one should never forget that COVID itself can induce myocarditis at about 7-14x greater incidence than what is reported with vaccines. And in children, it is 37X more often seen in infected ones compared to vaccinated / protected ones (ref1). One should be reminded that , over time, and prior to COVID, we were seeing significant increases in such cases (ref2). A pneumothorax, commonly known as a collapsed lung, occurs when air leaks into the space between the lung and the chest wall. This air pushes on the outside of the lung and makes it collapse. Pneumothorax can be caused by a chest injury, certain medical procedures, or can happen spontaneously. Symptoms typically include sudden chest pain and shortness of breath.
