𝗜𝗻 𝗮 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱: 𝗜𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺—𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻? Just over a week after Trump's reelection. A week and a day after the collapse of the coalition in Germany. A week after riots in Amsterdam. These events seem to share a common thread: we live in a divided world where collaboration often feels secondary to personal gain or convenience. True collaboration—listening to each other, finding common ground, and peacefully accepting differences—seems increasingly rare. While diverse teams and organizations have proven effective drivers of innovation and progress, individualism in Western Europe and the U.S. has grown stronger, often at the expense of unity. My take? Many of us resist being addressed as part of a group, which might explain certain political outcomes. At the same time, we instinctively form alliances when old ones fall apart. But does this fragmented, polarized approach really serve us? 𝗜’𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: • How can we overcome polarization—or is it something we should embrace? • Do we truly need big unions, or is the future about smaller, more self-serving alliances? • Can division ever drive progress? Let’s discuss. Your input might even shape my upcoming talk, 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘪𝘨 𝘗𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 2025.

"The free press is essential during times of conflict, war, and chaos." - Armstrong Williams Freedom of the press is an crucial right for the #UnitedStates and a basic core principle of our #democracy. We need the media to 1. Install trust in its people with accurate reporting 2. Establish the facts, not a biased opinion 3. Avoid propaganda (we know what happens) A free press can save lives. A free press will help our society have more honest and effective conversations about whats really going on with Israel and Hamas. Thank you Mr. Williams for your insight and direct commentary on why the free press is so important especially in today's technology driven world where we are privileged to have the internet at our finger tips. Thrilled to share my latest paper, "The Determining Elements of the New Great Power Competition: Unpacking the Race for Technological Supremacy," published by the Harvard Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation. This work is the culmination of a year’s research during my time as a Harvard Kennedy School Rajawali Fellow, exploring the intersection of technology and global power dynamics. https://lnkd.in/eD54q5pA #Geopolitics #Technology #Futurism #China
In his latest occasional paper titled, "The Determining Elements of the New Great Power Competition: Unpacking the Race for Technological Supremacy” — Rajawali Center’s Ronen Medzini explains why the US and China are not strangers to the “great power” competition. “In this landscape, first movers have the potential to dominate markets, establish international standards, and wield significant economic and political influence that could last for generations,” he wrote.
