HOW TO…. Avoid installation and commissioning mistakes for your ventilation…. 1. The dry siphon has been improperly mounted 2. The silencers are missing 3. Balancing is done only using the valves 4. Measuring with partially closed valves 5. The furthest valve is throttled 6. Pleated bends have been used You surely want to make sure to additionally changed the filters in your ventilation unit regularly by using Zehnder original filters to keep the indoor air clean and pollutant free. Top Tip! Bleeding your radiators is a necessary job if you want to keep your heating system working efficiently. ✅ Air can become trapped in the radiators, which prevents the heat from spreading properly. To bleed a radiator, follow the below steps. Step 1: Make sure the heating is off and the radiator is cold Step 2: Using a bleed key, turn the valve at the top of the radiator. Turn the valve anticlockwise, until air starts escaping (you’ll hear a hissing noise) Step 3: Using a cloth, catch any water that comes out. Re-tighten the valve once the hissing stops Step 4: Check your boiler pressure afterwards. If it’s below 1 bar, you’ll need to re-pressurise it. If the pressure is normal (between 1 and 2 bars), you can turn the heating back on and check the radiator is now heating up correctly ⬇️ For more handy tips, head over to the link below: https://brnw.ch/21wNOni #PlumbingTips #Plumbers #Plumbing #DrainDoctor

Ultra-concentrated leak sealer for central heating systems. This 500ml bottle is sufficient for treating 100 Litres of water or a typical domestic heating system of up to 10 radiators. Corgi leak sealer is used to seal inaccessible leaks and weeping joints, whilst reducing pressure loss in sealed systems. It does not cause blockages in circulator pumps or air-vents. ✅ Non-acidic, non-caustic – safe to handle ✅ To seal inaccessible leaks and weeping joints ✅ Concentrated 500ml bottle to treat up to 10 radiators ✅ Controls build-up of limescale and maintains boiler efficiency https://lnkd.in/eGv6ujbj #heatingcontrols #centralheating #boilderrepair #centralheatingcontrols #centralheatingmaintenance #heatingrepair #heatingsystemefficiency

outdoor units in a Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system are an essential component that houses the compressor(s), condenser coil(s), and other necessary equipment. These units are responsible for exchanging heat with the outside environment, either absorbing heat from or releasing heat into the surroundings, depending on whether the system is in cooling or heating mode.

It is vital that ventilation systems are installed correctly, to ensure ventilation rates are met. This can be achieved by: - Using rigid ducts for the majority of the installation - Using minimal amounts of flexible duct to aid connections - Minimising bends & taking the most economical route - Providing airtight seals with good quality sealing tape - Providing mechanical fixes with cable ties or worm-drive clips Discover more about the Importance of Installation Practice to System Performance and find examples here: https://lnkd.in/e9mHcTv5 #ventilationsystem

4 Signs You Need Supra's Diverter Valve: •Changes in Water Pressure: If you're noticing fluctuating water pressure during your showers, it might be time to consider a new diverter valve. •Leaks Below the Tub: Persistent leaks or drips beneath your tub are a clear indication that your current valve isn't performing as it should. •Trouble Switching Water Flow: Difficulty in smoothly switching between water outlets is a sign that your diverter valve is wearing out. •Temperature Inconsistencies: If your water temperature isn't consistent, a faulty diverter valve could be the culprit, making it a good time to upgrade to Supra’s reliable solution.
