Last year we collaborated with TEDx and hosted a workshop for young people as part of the corporate volunteering program #aheartforSCIENCE. 🧪 Children experienced the beauty of plants and insects seen through microscopes, they played with colors and experimented light exactly like us in our daily job. 🎉 Happy Birthday Carl Zeiss 🎉 On 11th September 1816, in Weimar, Germany, our visionary founder was born. From 1846 onwards, he began crafting microscopes in Jena, paving the way for what would become the globally renowned ZEISS brand we know today.
