This initiative is a community of cities and regions jointly creating a vision for the European hyperloop network. Together, we are designing the hyperloop system that radically improves connectivity while eliminating emissions, enabling the goal of net zero by 2050.
Since last year, the initiative already has the support of Algeciras, Berlin, Brasov, Flanders, Ljubljana, Munich, Rotterdam, Rzeszow, Zaragoza, and the Provinces of Groningen, and North Holland. We are proud to announce that Stad Antwerpen, the City Region of Turnhout (Regio in Transitie, consisting of the Belgium cities Beerse, Kasterlee, Lille, Oud-Turnhout, Turnhout, and Vosselaar), and the Regio Stedendriehoek (consisting of the Dutch cities Apeldoorn, Brummen, Deventer, Epe, Heerde, Lochem, Voorst, and Zutphen), have all signed Letters of Support.
The president of the Regio Stedendriehoek and mayor of Deventer, Ron König, is a strong supporter of the initiative: "This will lay the foundation for a transportation system that is both more interconnected and more sustainable. With a Europe connected by Hyperloop we can reduce our ecological footprint and promote a livable and healthy environment for future generations."
Do you want your city/region to join the Hyperconnected Europe community? Please tag them below. We are especially looking for partners where Hyperconnected Europe can become much stronger, including in Austria, the Baltic states, Czechia, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Scandinavia, Switzerland, and other countries.
