Those have been observable Walter Gilliam. Let's connect to discuss how this is happening to support staff (middle management, leadership, TA sector like EL coaching). We need to get serious to strategically address the exploitation in particular our BIPOC workforce! Tana Senn

We must begin to recognize that child care in the US is a CLOSED economic system with only direct pay from parents (and maybe some state subsidies for low income or other at risk populations!) As revenue. It doesn’t matter to what huge extent one respects child care providers and recognizes the extent of their work, one can only negotiate to the level of income (minus fundamental living expense) that one has.

Thank you, Dr. Gilliam, for telling it like it is. We will continue to work toward a skilled, supported, diverse and well-compensated early childhood workforce!
