With the integration of 3D technology and animation 👈🏽 into e-commerce, brands can now transform static online shopping into a dynamic, immersive experience. It’s not just about viewing products from every angle—it’s about bringing them to life.
1️⃣ Increased Purchase Confidence: Animation helps customers understand how a product looks, works, and feels, making decisions easier and reducing returns.
2️⃣ Elevated Storytelling: 3D and animation allow brands to highlight craftsmanship, innovation, and product details, whether it’s the texture of a handbag, the engineering of a watch, or the design of furniture.
3️⃣ Deeper Emotional Connection: By creating an immersive and engaging experience, brands can foster stronger customer loyalty and differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive online market.

Last month, I gave a lecture on new luxury design to a group of Indian university students at POLI.design, where I mentioned the Homo Faber in Venice, curated by Michelangelo Foundation. As you can see in the post below, the students who attended visited Homo Faber.
My own feeling at the third edition of Homo Faber was that we are at a turning point in the craft. For decades, local craft has been emphasised, along with cultural identity, as an axis of opposition to globalisation based on long supply chains.
However, when the solution of geopolitical problems has become a top priority, it is better to focus on the universality of the craft rather than the differentiation in the local craft. That is the role of luxury in creating a new culture.
A good example is the EU's focus on ceramic as a material for East-West cultural exchange since its eastward expansion in 2004.

I recently had the opportunity to attend a lecture on New Luxury Design by Professor Hiroyuki Anzai, where I was introduced to the Homo Faber exhibition in Venice. Excitingly, I also had the chance to visit this extraordinary showcase of craftsmanship in person!
Among the many highlights was the Fée Ondine Automaton by Van Cleef & Arpels—an exquisite work of art that took seven years to create. The level of detail, creativity, and technical expertise behind this piece left me in awe. Experiencing such a profound intersection of art and craftsmanship was truly inspiring, as were the various other displays at the exhibition.
This experience has deepened my appreciation for the artistry behind luxury design and the craftsmanship it takes to bring these creations to life.

As part of my role as a Social Media Manager, I’m always looking for ways to create valuable and engaging content for our amazing clients and audience. Recently, we created something fun and practical: a simple guide to help visitors easily find our booth at MAISON&OBJET.
It's all about making things more approachable and friendly even for our #B2B audience. I’d love to know what you think....do you find this type of content helpful when navigating big events like this? What other creative ways have you seen brands make their presence known at trade shows?
