My second bike ride home, from Faridabad to Hardoi (a district in Uttar Pradesh for those who don’t know), taught me a lot.
Here are the top three lessons from this long road trip!
1. Long bike rides push you through physical discomfort and challenging conditions, teaching perseverance and the determination to complete the journey.
2. These rides require careful planning, from mapping the route and scheduling stops to packing all the essentials.
3. Such journeys also teach self-reliance, helping you handle various situations on your own and fostering a strong sense of independence and confidence.

It feels awesome when you overcome the fear of uncertainty & challenge your limits..
Just happened with me, when we took our "Thar"on 27th April 2024 & did our 1st ever super long adventurous road trip to UP & North Eastern part of India from Mumbai. Accompanied by my better half & 2 kids (2 year & 5 year).
Crossed 6 States (Maharashtra, MP, UP, Bihar, WB, Sikkim)- 6813 Kms - 130+ driving hours - 16 days - Road/No Roads/Tough terrain - Sole driver on the wheel.
I had never realised my potential of driving almost 15 hrs.a day with just an hour halt, driving on terrains which were off limits for me due to my fear of high altitude, never imagined that my kids have the capacity and patience to stay in the vehicle for so many hours every day and ofcourse my navigator my better half can beat the google when google map got confused in Bihar, Darjeeling & Sikkim.
We as a team actually showcased multiple traits. Perfect planning - execution - coordination - team work overcoming hurdles - no fear of losing & navigating the unknown.
Ofcourse wouldn't have been possible with this incredible "MI2 Thar". Not a single issue in the entire trip, it actually boosted my confidence to take this up.
Some major Myths on "Thar" that I will like to break...I was driving a 4*4 Diesel Automatic Thar..
1. People think it's not an SUV for adventure lovers other than Singles, but in actual It is for the family which loves adventure.
2. It is not built for super long trips is what people say as it don't have much space for luggage, but it managed to accommodate our luggage of 16 days.
3. They think its not comfortable for long drives but in actual it's super comfortable, average 15+ hrs.drive for continuous 6 days with almost no fatigue at all.

71 km of the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway in Karnataka set to launch by November
A key 71-kilometer section of the Bengaluru-Chennai Expressway, passing through Karnataka, is set to open by the end of November 2024. This announcement comes from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), marking an important step forward in the completion of the project.
The expressway, which will span a total of 260 kilometers, connects Bengaluru and Chennai, significantly reducing travel time between the two cities. The stretch in Karnataka has faced some delays, primarily due to the need to relocate a temple near Hoskote, at Jinnagara Cross. Now that the temple has been moved, construction work has resumed at full pace. According to Vilas P. Brahmankar, NHAI's Bengaluru Regional Officer, the entire Karnataka portion of the expressway is complete, with only a 400-meter stretch left to finish.
