Important Update on Salary Sacrifice Reporting 📊 As part of the transition to Single Touch Payroll (STP) Phase 2, reporting employee year-to-date (YTD) amounts has undergone changes. In the past (STP Phase 1), employers only reported post-sacrificed amounts to the ATO. Now, with STP Phase 2, employers must report both pre-sacrificed amounts and separately specify the salary sacrificed amounts: - Use "S" for amounts sacrificed to super - Use "O" for amounts sacrificed towards other benefits.
