Working before the International Court of Arbitration for Sport requires collaboration with law firms and international lawyers specialized in sports law. Notable specialized firms include Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese firms, as well as Swiss firms, given the location of CAS in Lausanne, Switzerland. Handling sports legal cases requires special qualification for lawyers due to the unique nature of these cases, which rely on jurisprudence and legal principles issued by CAS.
