They’ve managed to build a brand around delivering food quickly, except for those times when they don't. Their customer service seems to be an enigma wrapped in a mystery, served with a side of cold fries. And their app? Happy B'day Zomato! Have a great year ahead. The post is amazing as usual. I highly appreciate the content writers at Zomato (especially the ones from the team who post on LinkedIn). I have a suggestion if you are game for it. Just make the same post in written Hindi. That would be awesome. Even for your International audience too. Worst customer support, in an complaint of wrong item they just say they can not contact the restaurant so they can not support. And that's all. Not only this the pics and video that you uploaded in the chat is somehow not seen by them later or neither you can download. They ask you to send an email. I mean how insensible is this for a customer to wait for a food and recieve wrong item and then they simply say we can not support as the restaurant did not recieve call. Thats all. And later they need fresh pics and video. How unprofessional and unethical.

🚨 Customer Service Alert 🚨 I wanted to share an experience I recently had with Zomato that has left me quite disappointed. I placed an order (Order ID - 5978832446) via Zomato. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel the order, but only after verifying that the cancellation option was available, which indicated the restaurant had not yet accepted the order. To my surprise, I was charged INR 332.21 as cancellation charges. When I reached out to Zomato's support team, I received an email stating that these charges were justified. This seemed unreasonable, so I decided to follow up with them. However, the customer support representative who called me was extremely arrogant and dismissive, outright refusing to refund the charges. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the high standards Zomato is known for. As a loyal customer, I expect fair treatment and a professional resolution to my concerns. Address my specific case and process a refund for the cancellation charges. #CustomerService #Zomato #CustomerExperience #Feedback
