We live in an era of great confusion and disappointment with governance and a general dissatisfaction in our representation in OUR government. Allow me share some memorable advice my granma used to share to me- "things seem to always get worse before they get better", or even more shared, "It's always darkest right before dawn". The idea of "America" was that of a "great experiment", at a time where entire nations were either ruLED by a monarchy or were empires were RULED by emperors, a group of enlightened people conceptualized the idea of a nation ruled by the people. They even postulated a number of scenarios in that! Some were unrealistic, some were marginally laughable. But the concept was so appealing, men were willing to die for it. In the decades around what we today know as America's "Independence Day", this nation developed a principle that would be used over and over in many other lands on this planet. Back to today- I try to remember the advice from my granma when I understand that the experiment is still running, because the settings were never potted in epoxy- Lest we forget that those enlightened people considered that times would change, society would change and thus governance should be able to change to support that change. I won't waste your time talking about the things we should have learned in our civics classes in school, but consider those now... As we celebrate our Independence, let us also remember that the cost of FREEDOM is NEVER FREE- When we are a military protecting the homeland from external influences that would compromise the autonomy of our nation's governance or it's people's freedoms, OR safety. Or, a citizen that understands that we are not expected to leave the governance of our country to someone else, but that a government "Of, WE the People" means that what we have is the product of our contributions, or lack there of... Make America what you expect it to be, make YOUR contributions to it- participate in the government of it, scrutinize the abilities and effectiveness of those you choose to represent you in government, consider what happens to the governance as that representative exploits your representation- we are NOT choosing leaders here folks- we are CHOOSING those that REPRESENT our expectations in the governance of this "Nation built on the GREAT EXPERIMENT... Happy 4th of July- Let Freedom Ring!

I creatively inspire and encourage others through customized coaching and action planning to courageously escape the grind, align with their true purpose, and fulfill the life and work they were uniquely made for.
Celebrating Independence Day honors the courage and sacrifices made to secure our freedoms. Our inalienable rights, enshrined in the Declaration of Independence, grant us life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As we celebrate, let's honor the resilience and adaptability that define our nation. Because of our courageous forefathers and those who have served since, we enjoy the freedoms of speech, worship, assembly, and petitioning the government. The sacrifices of our forefathers and those since are a testament to the freedoms we celebrate today. Old Glory, the United States ensign, the "sacred emblem of ‘The land of the free and the home of the brave,’ symbolizes these values. Let's come together this 4th of July to celebrate our cherished freedoms and the spirit of independence. I pray you have an enjoyable and safe holiday as we honor the legacy of our Declaration of Independence. #IndependenceDay #Freedom #Resilience #Honor #MaverickStrategist #MaverickonaMission ____________________________ I’m Jeff, a strategic advisor for resilience and complex matters. Dynasties and monarchies typically resist empowering ordinary individuals because it could undermine their own authority and control. In such systems, power and influence are often concentrated within specific ruling families or individuals, passed down through generations. Allowing ordinary people to gain significant power could threaten this established order by diluting the authority of those in charge. Therefore, dynasties and monarchies often prioritize maintaining their own supremacy and control over the broader empowerment of the general populace. This perpetuates a cycle where power remains centralized among a select few, reinforcing the existing hierarchy and limiting the potential for widespread empowerment and equality. 🙏🇮🇳🇮🇳🙏

On this Independence Day, let us celebrate not just our nation’s freedom, but also the journey toward true freedom for every citizen. Though we have shed colonial rule, many still struggle under the weight of inequality and the shadows of the past. Yet, we stand on the brink of a new era—where freedom belongs to everyone, not just the privileged few. Let us unite to build a nation where every voice is heard and every life valued. The dream of true independence is within reach; together, we can make it a reality. “You alone we worship and you alone we ask for help.” Quran 1:5
