Do you have your hiring plan for the year established? Hiring is a process that goes beyond just filling positions. It's about envisioning the future of Br8kthru and ensuring that each new member not only contributes to our goals but also resonates with our core values. 2023 was a tough year for our industry. Going into 2024, we used hiring as the foundation of much of our planning and strategy, starting with our revenue goals. Instead of setting an arbitrary revenue goal, we started by planning ahead on resourcing to A) service our current Clients and B) grow Br8kthru as a business. Then we used those resourcing numbers to establish a revenue goal that will make sense for the number of employees we expect to have at any given time. In short, our hiring plan helped establish our revenue goals, and our revenue goals help inform our hiring plan. People are our business (and our biggest expense), so by being really intentional about hiring, we’ve been able to ensure our revenue targets are stretch goals — but still achievable. Resolved: The Clause Out team has what it takes to bring our innovative platform to market. We are 🌟🌟 from many different stripes—as I like to say about the core team we’ve assembled. Still, we’ve found it useful to maintain an “open door” policy for helping hands who can help us grow faster and in the right direction. The more claws (within reason), the better off we are! Over time I’ll explain a bit more what I mean by this outlook on talent. - How have we opened the startup’s🚪 to part-time hires and other types of contributors? - Who has helped us define and reach our goals? - What initial lessons have we taken away from this fairly unconventional approach to hiring?
