Dance with me in the sunlit pools New exhibition by Carrie Stanley opens tomorrow 💫
The first week in April is a big week for me. On 3rd April the Derwent Drawing Prize show opens at the Gallery@Oxo including my drawing ‘An Anatomy of Grief’ (image below). Out of 6,000 entries from 2,324 artists in 77 countries... 68 artworks were shortlisted for the exhibition, it’s a huge achievement. It’s the second of my grief works to have been selected for drawing prize exhibition having already shown at the Trinity Buoy Wharf drawing prize show in 2022. Gallery@OXO, OXO Tower Wharf, London, from 4th April to 14th April. The exhibition will be free to see. The 6th April sees my solo show ‘Dance with me in the sunlit pools’ open @zuleikagallery in Woodstock. The show will run for three weeks ending on 27th April. I’ll be at the gallery 6th and 7th and look forward to talking to everyone about the work. Image below of ‘Relations in time ’ oil and pastel on linen which is part of the show.
