🚀 Dev After Party Vibes! 🚀 At Agwa, we believe innovation doesn’t stop at 5 PM. Every few weeks, our team comes together for an epic Dev After Party. It’s a time when creativity flows freely, and we dive into exciting projects that push the boundaries of our hydroponic tech. In yesterday’s session, we came up with two fantastic features: one to help our support team and another to assist our technicians. Both will significantly boost efficiency and enhance our service quality. From experimenting with new ideas to refining our code, these sessions are all about making our AgwaGarden even better. And what’s a dev party without some 🍕 pizza and 🍺 beer? These after-hours brainstorms not only enhance our product but also foster an incredible team spirit. The beverage industry is not for the faint of heart. It’s expensive. It’s competitive. But it’s exhilarating! About two years ago we faced an inflection point. Become profitable or die! This meant completely changing everything about the company. We vertically integrated and bought our own manufacturing facility. We downsized our team which had grown larger than our sales could support. We refined our marketing spend to become very efficient yet still effective. We revised our pricing strategy. We reevaluated our innovation process and pipeline. Any one of these things is difficult to do. It’s like changing an airplane’s parts while in flight. Doing them all at the same time is a complete company turnaround. I couldn’t be more proud of the Koia team that made all happen. While it wasn’t a “fun” process, it was the right one, and the company and brand are the strongest they have ever been because of it. #drinkkoia #teamwork #turnaround #profitability
