Looking back, last week’s LogiMAT Trade Show, was a great success! There were so many interesting conversations and most of the visitors coming to us at the Wirepas partner booth had real-world use cases in mind.
The live demo of platbricks, the leading cloud-based modular logistics platform at the booth of our partner Arvato Systems combined with our Bornemann Group Mesh hardware and highly precise Cavea positioning engine plus the premier omlox middleware by Flowcate, hit the spot for many visitors who were looking for a groundbreaking solution for automated and efficient real-time transparency across the entire reusable container cycle.
Along with our partner ekko GmbH, we have had many great conversations with customers and it has become clear that ESL has become an integral and indispensable part of industrial production. The next logical automation step is particularly in demand in the industry, combining ESL and Mesh-based RTLS solutions to enable end-to-end visibility, automated #SAP booking, and ultimately completely paperless production. The good news is that we have already done our homework and can easily achieve this wish already today.
However, interacting with esteemed colleagues from other fields and disciplines was also very fulfilling. For example, questions like: Is there a "one size fits all" for RTLS?
I had the opportunity to discuss this topic with Erik Mademann, CEO of ZIGPOS GmbH.
We agree: future-proof and scalable location-aware solutions need to be better considered and should integrate various key RTLS technologies. This not only greatly accelerates the implementation of automation projects, but also makes it much more cost-effective.
At Zigpos and Bornemann Group, there are people at the start who have made this their focus and offer appropriate answers and solutions.
Furthermore, I had an exciting discussion with Andreas Schnabel and Heiko Viertel on the topic of "Lean Management - or ZERO MUDA in production". Thank you for confirming that we fully support your Lean Six Sigma approach with our RTLS Mesh solution.
A big THANK YOU to Bernd Jaschinski-Schürmann, Pascal Leppich, Thomas Weisshaupt, Pauline Lekkas, Maik Peters, Michael Hornung, Stephan Zangerl, Matthias Joest, Philipp Stelzer and Artur Brommer for your great collaboration.
Already looking forward to returning next year!
