The Zyscovich team had a fantastic time celebrating with the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and the City of Coral Gables at their 16th Annual George E. Merrick Awards of Excellence event, kicking off the chamber’s Annual Conference. We're excited to be part of such a vibrant community and to contribute to its continued growth.   As Coral Gables gears up to celebrate its centennial anniversary, we're proud to be working on the Ponce Park Residences project. Zyscovich is honored to have received the Lucy G. Moses Preservation Award for our transformative work on the 75th Police Precinct project. This historic 1892 police station was revitalized into a dynamic community resource, preserving its Romanesque Revival façade while repurposing it to address the housing shortage in New York City. The project included a new shelter for formerly unhoused men and an Article 28 clinic accessible to the community. Our meticulous restoration efforts, approved by the State Historic Preservation Office and the National Park Service, included repointing brick, repairing sandstone and terra cotta, and installing new roofs, windows, and doors. The 36,000 sf building is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We are grateful for the collaboration of Triple Five Holdings, LLC, Gregory Dietrich Preservation Consulting, Mary Kay Judy Architectural & Cultural Heritage Conservation, Old Structures Engineering, and Reliant Builders, LLC.
