Parento provides an insurance based solution for paid parental leave. Through Parento employers purchase a fully-insured paid parental leave policy offering from 6 to 16 weeks at up to 100% of base salary for all employees, covering birthing, non-birthing, adoptive and foster parents.

The insurance policy is customized for the client based on employee census data, and works seamlessly alongside existing short-term disability policies, paid family leave (PFL) and state disability programs.

Parento ensures EOCC compliance, budget certainty and risk mitigation - offloading significant risk and workload from employers and HR teams.

Parento's program includes a Leave Concierge team to handle leave and claims administration, compliance, payroll calculations, and to alleviate the burden for HR teams. Also included in the program is access to unlimited parent coaching and support for the transitions before, during, and after leave from pre-conception to pre-teen.
