The year 2023 posed unique challenges for startups and the tech industry. Funding tensions, technology disruptions, and the evolving nature of consumer demands created a landscape that demanded strategic adaptation.

Startups, often known for their agility, faced the paradox of maneuvering through both uncertainties and unparalleled opportunities. A lot of them had to get used to a "new normal" of low or inexisting investments, as shown by the amount of layoffs the sector faced this year.

One of the solutions found was outsourcing some services, including payroll. This helped many companies save costs and focus on what mattered: recovering what was lost and starting to grow again.
