Fakers Gonna Fake, Fake, Fake, Fake, Fake. Not so Fast Taylor...the FTC has Entered the Chat.
By Liz Miller
As part of ongoing work to crack down on deceptive trade, the FTC is putting more teeth behind what many point out is already an illegal practice. Under this final rule, the maximum fine could be over $51k per violation and gives the FTC the authority to directly address violations.
This new rule from the FTC is not a matter we can sit around and wait to see what enforcement is like. We can’t get away with gently addressing what is believed to be a faked review. With brand security at stake, knowledge is truly power, but there is a limited time to turn that power into something truly positive for your brand and your buyer.
Revenue Platforms: AI and Focus on Full Journey are Changing the Game
The revenue platforms market continues to evolve rapidly. This is due to several factors—namely that most businesses are continuing to transform their business models to better support a “retention-focused” economy and that businesses must rethink their growth strategies in the wake of this development.
This means that revenue platforms are evolving to include more datasets, and data sources, to better support a full-journey approach to growth. In addition, the workflow capabilities need to expand to support more end-to-end processes and experiences—incorporating task management that spans Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Customer Success.

The hybrid cloud landscape is evolving rapidly, and HPE's recent acquisition of Morpheus Data marks a significant shift in the field. Let's be clear: this move isn't just another tech giant gobbling up a smaller player. It's a strategic play that could redefine how enterprises manage their increasingly complex cloud environments.
One thing's for sure: the hybrid cloud management space just got a lot more interesting. As enterprises continue to grapple with multi-cloud complexity, HPE's move could position them as a leader in this rapidly evolving market. But in the fast-paced world of cloud computing, today's leader can quickly become tomorrow's laggard. HPE will need to execute flawlessly to make this acquisition pay off.
