5 Email Response Mistakes You Should Avoid
Do you hate receiving emails? Share these 5 hints with your friends and coworkers to cut down the number of emails you get and clean up your inbox for only the important things.
- Don’t “Reply All” all the time – Refrain from using “Reply All” to give your opinion to everyone on the email. Usually, it is best to send your response to just the Sender.
- CC is FYI – Only add someone as a CC (carbon copy) if they need to know the information. If you overuse the CC, your emails might be ignored.
- Edit recipients in To and CC – If someone doesn’t need to see your reply, have the courtesy to remove them from the email.
- Rethink your BCC – When using BCC (blind carbon copy), make sure that your intentions are proper. Misuse can cause some significant damage.
- Do everyone a favor and don’t “Forward to 5 Friends” – Just hit delete instead and save everyone the trouble.
