Will Ai Replace Humans?

Humans and machines are constantly competing. And everyone, including the AI geeks, are watching these developments with bated breath. With platforms like ChatGPT now answering almost everything and other tools almost starting to be competent in several tasks, more and more people are approaching this topic with great respect and are wondering whether machines could replace humans.

The answer is no, Artificial Intelligence is not going to replace humans. It can replicate tasks with great precision and can only do what humans do in their best form. AI functions as an assistant or a tool to assist analysts in making better decisions, but it cannot be compared to human brain thinking.

Most manual, repetitive tasks are at risk of being replaced, but AI and technological advances will create additional jobs. People will begin to use AI to achieve faster results, improve overall accuracy and automate processes. As technology evolves, so does human intelligence, working in a symbiotic relationship with it.

With all the benefits of using AI, there are some drawbacks. If we begin using these tools in the early stages of our careers, the learning curve will be different. We’ll rely on these tools for a lot of tasks and be limited in their work without them. The amount of effort that people put into research and making will also reduce drastically.

But how will AI change the way we work here at Morean as it will in any creative agency?

During the last months, we used AI tools like Midjourney and DALLE·2 to enrich our toolset and generate snippets of images that we have used in various projects. The advantage is that we can describe exactly what we need. What we get is another story. :D

We also tried out the currently very hyped ChatGPT to write our last post, which you can read here. The results were quite satisfying. In future, Morean may develop a tool that directly gives us the required camera angle and the finished shots as technology advances, but we will still need people to personalise the tool and edit small details to get the best possible result.

Even if the overall time to create the result is significantly reduced, the creativity and emotion that a human brain brings is difficult to replicate through a tool.

By using AI and the time it saves, we can spend more valuable time on the creative and emotional part of our work in the future.

This is why we believe that humans and intelligent machines will not compete against each other, but rather cooperate to achieve a better result.
